I love skateboarding, a sport that I used to do all of the time when in high school, and after lengthy hiatus from it, I am now back in the thick and the grind, so to speak. After really riding hard over this past year with my best friends, we have managed to get back to where we were when we were kids. Now that we are actually accomplished riders once more, we have been using digital photography to capture our different skating tricks. Whenever we head the to the local skate parks, like we did this morning – which was a gorgeous day for skating mind you – we bring our digital photography cameras and our camcorders with us. Over the past five or so months, we have truly been able to get some awesome shots on film thanks to digital photography—and we are getting ever so closer to actually amassing enough clips to edit and create our very first skating video of us performing our favorite tricks flawlessly! I can’t wait until we have enough footage to being the editing process!
