For many years I dreamt of wedding photography and becoming a photographer. I didn’t do anything about it, but yet it was something that I talked about all the time. Finally, after getting tired of hearing me talk about it for probably ten years, my best friend finally asked me when I was going to stop talking about wedding photography and actually become one. I’ll admit that when she first said it, I was a little annoyed with her, but I found that it was just the kick in the pants that I needed, so about two years ago I signed up for photography school. I finished at the top of my class and I recently ordered my very first professional digital camera that I found online for a fantastic deal. This weekend is when I officially put my wedding photography skills to use as I’m shooting my first wedding. I’m pretty excited about it, and I’m finally making my dream come true with wedding photography. Oh and did I mention that the wedding I’m shooting is the same friend who encouraged me to step out of the box and start making things happen? I’m eternally grateful to her.
